Shows the Silver Award... and that's it.

I needed this today

  1. Having a woman as the lead in an action movie isn't woke. However totally negating actual history and the fact that Comanche women were never "fierce highly trained warriors" (as the description of the movie promotes her) is pretty woke. Hilariously, also, if we're going with the woke thing.. this movie should never have even been promoted and pushed because Comanches, like many people's, took slaves. So the question becomes - are people calling it woke simply because there is a woman in the lead? I'm sure some are. But are people also may be calling it woke because it's completely historically inaccurate. (Not the Sci fi alien element but the humans being portrayed that were a real people). Just something to consider in my opinion. Personally, I think if it's done right, a female badass lead is great. But, I also see a lot of what we would call wokeism in a lot of these movies and they've definitely poured it into this movie Prey even though it has been good so far (watching now).

  2. That's not true actually, the Comanche did have female warriors, they were just a small minority as it's a mostly male dominated society, hence why they look down on her doing traditionally male activities.

  3. I would be interested to see a source that shows they were female Comanche warriors. This is me asking for some evidence so I can learn here. I like to learn things I didn't know before. I just need someone to show me actual sources.

  4. Like somebody said we have jobs LOL. Should have been 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time to 9 p.m. East Coast time.

  5. It's on your last photo... Hibiscus Moscheutos Luna. More specifically, Luna Rose.

  6. Ok I saw luna was a tm name brand but couldn't find anything under that ne that looked similar....thought it m8ght have a different nickname. I'll look into it some more.

  7. Has anybody ever had an issue with the 45 degree angle cutter not cutting all the way through but the 90-degree cutter works fine on the next step? Solutions?

  8. I just finished this and I struggle with how The Monster could follow Victor Frankenstein all over Europe and find him every time. I just found that unbelievable.

  9. I would go for MFT. The live preview, IBIS, and more affordable, more compact lenses mean you'll probably find yourself with better low light performance and better shots in undesirable conditions (getting jostled around at a concert in the wet, maybe) with the smaller system.

  10. If you bind the set piece, it will end up in your stickerbook. You don't need to actually destroy/decon sets to collect them. It's really just a matter of whether you want to hold onto the item in order to save yourself the transmute crystal reconstruction cost at a later time.

  11. Actually I am wearing spell power. Lol. Your post reminded me of that. I just happened to be looking at sanctuary stuff a few minutes ago and my brain said that instead of SPC. Lol.

  12. So I'm looking at doing more concert photography and I'm debating on what would be the best prime lens to start with? I'm deciding between 35, 50, and 85. I'm going to try and keep it at about 2.4- 1.8 (affordability).. opinions?

  13. I was there, first pic is soo dope!!!!!

  14. you forgot to mention budget. and country

  15. I have that laptop now and it's actually been great. It's just getting a little bald down as all. Time to upgrade. But it is a good laptop.
