  1. What these soft bans show is that People can Bug Abuse as hard as they want and rake in billions of gp for the first time, then take a week vacation or however long it is and continue playing like nothing happened. This will amplify people to bug abuse even more because thy know they will get away with it

  2. How is it getting away with it if they lost their loot they got from it? Plus if they get banned again it’ll likely be a perma.

  3. Not talking about this Bug abuse specifically, there have been plenty others througout the years that are much more profitable and there will be more in the future as well, this sets a precedent for that saying you can bug abuse in the future if this is your first time.

  4. I had a semi okay day, this made it much better

  5. Half of you are definitely missing the point here, nobody cares if jagex makes more money but it would be nice to actually get something back for it because right now all they are doing is slapping some extra servers to the already existing 150 worlds, restarting everything and calling it new content while requiring to make brand new accounts with new e-mail. Thats why people say "money" because jagex gets a fat paycheck without putting in the effort to make enjoyable content

  6. Make an iron only world completely disconnected from all others that will never be merged. Now offer 10x exp and drop rates. This will make the game less grindy for people who rather have something more streamlined and singleplayer like.

  7. You just described leagues without the niche lol

  8. Leagues was fun and I wish they continued that

  9. Jagex Promised to bring more updates about the OSRS Fresh Start Worlds in September but today is the last day of September and there hasn't been any updates on it yet.

  10. This is so fucking unprofessional by Riot, there are millions of people watching if you count Asia as well and they just now are starting to set up computers in Players hotel rooms. Like holy shit, you had so much time to prepare for this and you host two events per year and somehow still manage to fuck it up.

  11. One of the first balance changes included changes to the Path of Apmeken to reduce the time it takes to complete. Before the balance it took me between 3-4 minutes, after the balance it still takes 3-4 minutes. Are there any plans to actually bring the path more inline with the other paths?

  12. There was an idea to put a bell in the middle of the room and you can ring the bell to invite the next wave if you wanna go faster, could make some interesting strategies

  13. Imagine giving yourself carpal tunnel for a skill that is already 240k xp/hr with zero effort

  14. Isn't wines like 450k xp/hr and pretty chill compared to 2-ticking as well?

  15. Is there a number for how many COX Completions we have in total? Like we do with TOB and TOA?

  16. !kc cox in Runelite in chat if you're on a computer.

  17. I meant overall completions not individual like a leaderboard kinda thing but I guess Jagex didn't implement that when it was released

  18. Magnus was like we haven't had any drama for checks the clock 9 hours, lets turn this shit up

  19. Is there a number on how many Raids 1 completions there are in total?

  20. It seems like a rather common thing for family members to rip off popular streamers these days for their own gain. As soon as money comes into play, that relationship you built with your family for years is just thrown out, which makes the streamer think wait, was there ever a good relationship or was this the play all along?

  21. Imagine presenting your golden goose to the world and you spent fifty bucks on the presentation

  22. I think I heard from Q&A some time back saying Jagex has a real problem with instances in OSRS since it takes a lot of server space so if you have thousands of people simultaneously entering an instance in raids 3, it causes servers to do funny stuff

  23. Re: Question #5: Mod Markos mentioned that there was no league currently in development, but we might expect to see one in 2023 and he was hoping to hear suggestions from players. Many players have been requesting re-running prior leagues, which might fill the gaps in the meantime.

  24. Genuinely surprised Mod Markos said they are looking for new ideas on Leagues even though there are multiple well thought out ideas by players that have been available for months now.

  25. It's probably specifically because the Leagues didn't do a great job of converting players to the main game. Would be curious to see the numbers.

  26. I think not being able to convert new league players into actual players is more of a problem on lack of great design rather than the gamemode itself. Leagues is a very effective way to gain new players if done right and it has been proven by other games multiple times now, for instance Path of Exile. Even though PoE isn't in great state right now, it has shown if Leagues are done right, it could have huge impact on the main game itself.

  27. I think the biggest crime in this thread is OP not using dark mode

  28. Just so specify, Mod Markos said we might get Leagues next year but Jagex haven't started designing one yet.

  29. That's not true, designing your game with bots in mind is important. It's specifically why Jagex add requirements to certain rewarding minigames/activities - even trading. It doesn't wholly defeat bots but it increases the window of opportunity to catch them before they start impacting the game economy.

  30. Tbh everyone thought Corrupted Gauntlet was the first piece of content you finally couldn't bot due to high requirements to access it and now there are bots on every world lol

  31. Honestly you should send this video to Jagex, I know there is a customer support meme but so far everytime someone sends video evidence, the crashers alaways get punished. At least it's worth a try

  32. Isn't it weird that it's called "Fang" But it acts as a dagger or similar to what Keris looks like?

  33. I do wish they spent a little more time designing the hitsplat, right now it looks like a regular hit with 100% saturation added in lol. The update self is really neat though, I never know I wanted it until I saw it myself. Feels great to get that max hit on a boss or other player and see it yourself.
