  1. Not only every corporation, but most countries seek growth rather than sustainability. It will be the end of civilization as we know it.

  2. I've had two Subaru economy cars that produced fewer squeaks and rattles than my Model Y interior -- they also had no flaws in the paint or bodywork from the factory. I don't know what's up with Tesla USA that they struggle with build quality so much.

  3. Have you taken back to the service center to have these addressed? My friend had a vibration/rattle and took it in. They fixed that plus two other areas they identified and it was remarkably better. The service app has a whole section for rattles/noise, and now they’re aiming for 50% of service to be done in an hour or less.

  4. No. I’ve only had the car for four days. The nearest service center is an hour and a half away. And I won’t have time for a few weeks at least.

  5. Oh, that sucks. Again, thanks for the reviews- very balanced.

  6. Ok "whateveridiot".. normally you would expect autohighbeam to work properly...but it still doesn't...so now autopilot enables autohighbeam whenever activated.....after lane change or brake...but i guess some people like you wouldnt mind tapping an extra button or stock just to open the window or something after a software update... instead of tesla fixing it.

  7. I don’t mind the auto-high beam function. While it may stay on a bit longer than I would (for instance when an oncoming vehicle is far off in the distance), I think overall it is quite good at avoiding “blinding” other drivers. It takes some getting used to, but if it makes autopilot safer then we should try to embrace it.

  8. What happens in 2-3 years if FSD is “solved” but it requires HW4 with better optics to work. Will they retrofit 200,000 vehicles that paid for FSD?

  9. Is there a place to check that? Where does it show your number of strikeouts? TIA

  10. Are you smoking cigarettes or weed in the car? If so then there’s a residue that smoke leaves behind on glass. So yeah, you’re definitely breathing that in if you’re smoking it first

  11. Unpopular opinion: just remember you’re not paying for 20 minutes of the doctor’s time. You’re paying for the 20 years of sacrifice they made missing family weddings and funerals, missing going out partying with friends because they were studying or in residency and couldn’t leave. You’re paying for their malpractice insurance because lawyers and patients like to think doctors are full of money. You’re paying for their student loan debt that was over $200,000 and took them 20 years to pay off. You’re paying for about 80 insurance bureaucrats for every 1 doctor. And you’re not paying them to just inspect your testicles. You’re paying them for their expertise to be able to tell you whether or not you could have cancer. Our healthcare system is broken in so many ways, but people vilifying doctors is misplaced anger in my opinion. We should be mad at the insurance executives and private equity hedge fund managers making $20 million a year off the backs of doctors making $150,000 /year. Like I said- I’m sure that’s an unpopular opinion, but it’s true.

  12. Stolen Valor - look it up. If this is real (doubtful), this guys got a lifetime of ass-kicking coming his way unless he wears a turtleneck the rest of his life.

  13. My girlfriend usually has to pee around 30% remaining (assuming I leave with 100%) so I end up having to stop around that

  14. That’s funny. Elon was asked once about competitors coming out with 500+ mile range batteries and he responded with something to the effect of - what is the range of the human bladder? That is the maximum range necessary in a battery. Lol.

  15. "Do you want this arm any longer?" (Referring to one of our own arms)

  16. Awesome joke!! I’m stealing it. Sorry for your loss, but thanks for sharing a great memory.

  17. Haha. Same. My dad says jumping off a building won’t kill you, but the sidewalk might.

  18. Not looking to stir the pot, but I have seen this one here before.

  19. World is round and medicine comes in a variety of containers.

  20. Fair point. Common in many parts of the world, but not all

  21. Is anyone even close when it comes to freestyle?
