When laughter meets percussion

I don't need it, I don't even necessarily want it, but I've got some cash to burn so I'm gonna get it.

Shower them with laughs

Thank you stranger. Shows the award.

A glowing commendation for all to see

  1. Okay... No one actually explained this. Linux uses mount points, think of it like a box in a box, one big box can hold many other boxes but the rest of it can actually be filled with stuff(files). If you were to put another box in the box you are nesting the boxes in your case /boot is nested within /. The box you are putting inside / is /boot. Inside of that box you are putting /boot/efi and then you have your efi files in that final nest with your kernel being in /boot.

  2. hmm, a mount point is more like a label. It doesn't contain anything, or it is a 4KB? file?you know what, yes, they are all just 4kb files! well, most of them, "tmp" is a hyperlink and "sys" is probably not a physical file

  3. Thank you for answering all my questions thrown at the wall. The link is phenomenal.

  4. So, someone only vaugely aware of star citizen.. why the hell do people keep funding it?

  5. Impressive that it survived the hit but i am more surprised that they did not pop smoke after that.

  6. now, while in that tin box, how do you know what just happened outside? the 125mm cartriges explodes less than a feet from their ears every 10 secs or so, I wonder how loud 2-3 kg of explosive going off outside of the tank is going to be

  7. should be just a hypno toad saying "buy our sh*t".

  8. Fight fire by adding more fire, Clean mud by adding more mud.

  9. any guesses suggestions is welcome, won't be eating it.

  10. I would do that too, I started to hesitate a while ago due to:

  11. with 0 air flow, what can the "lerx" do?

  12. With zero airflow, same as an airfoil, no circulation, no lift. But the leading edge chines, as I was taught, induce a vortex that creates additional lift to enable the f22 to have these types of post-stall maneuvers. Also, vectored thrust lol

  13. did they explain how a lerx induced a vortex?

  14. The whole situation is messed up. No good side. The Iranians don’t want Al-Sadr to take over the government, because Al-Sadr doesn’t want to just be an Iranian puppet state. He wants to be Saddam 2.0 and so he couldn’t form a coalition government and “retired” his supporters took this as a sign to just burn the whole thing down. The “moderates” aka the Al-Maliki faction want a return to Shia rule as an Iranian proxy state. The Sunnis and Kurds I assume just want to survive. It’s a really convoluted situation and this is about all i think I’ve figured out.

  15. if Democracy counter attacks, everything will be alright.

  16. firing heat rounds then? I see explosion in the distance

  17. Toyota dealer: "so, what addons would you like for your truck?"

  18. Yes you are right that there is only one force. However that force can act in multiple directions. Especially if the coil is smaller than the can itself. This is due to the fields at the edge of the coil rotating back around to complete the B field loop. This change in the magnetic field direction also changed the direction of the magnetic force. The ends of the can feel a force pulling them in opposing directions away from the coil and the center of the can feels an inward facing force crushing it.

  19. I believe I made a mistake, here is my new thought process, in a,b,c,d steps:

  20. "I was using a friend's old PC to grow some mushrooms, the shrooms needed heat"

  21. I would watch a movie named "hotdog maveric"

  22. question, is there any benefit of arranging the fans to "pull" air into the heatsink as shown, instead of having the fans "blow" air into the heatsink
