  1. There needs to be one other change. A college degree in Social Work should be required. It would rule out the assholes who only join the force so they can legally bully others to hide their insecurities.

  2. Yeah, but if we remove all the asshole bullies from the force, then it will only be Sally on front desk left.

  3. they're tiny little donkeys, adorable

  4. Now, now, it's not entirely unreasonable. There are some plants that act as effective repellents for some bugs.

  5. If you need to stop women coming in your house, my face and personality are a great repellent.

  6. The lawnmower is a device that spins dangerous blades fast enough to chop a human baby into pieces. Save the babies, ban lawnmowers.

  7. Wait... the bubbling of the paint on the hood on my 2017 has been an issue for a decade or so? That at least makes more sense.

  8. Oh your original post made it seem that your my2017 has been bubbling for a decade, but it's only 2022

  9. There are two types of Tory voters the rich and the stupid.

  10. Unfortunately the stupid outnumber the rich, and continue to vote for them thinking that the Tories actually give a shit about them.

  11. Guys, I think you haven't noticed the biggest news here - Direct debit ! Why you ask ? I believe that for many of us our biggest expenses each month are the rent and utility bills. With direct debit you will now be able to put these on your plutus account. This is massive.

  12. It would be nice to earn cashback on DD, but I think it's doubtful as plutus won't earn merchant card processing fee on DDs.

  13. It's not necessarily illegal to use bank cards to purchase weed from a legal dispensary. Banks just didn't allow it because from a federal perspective their pool of capital would be concretely "contaminated" with illegal drug money.

  14. umm, those were sensible chuckles, entirely different, and much more cruel.

  15. She thought it was halarious when I read it to her.

  16. My £1800 2004 Astra had auto-dimming rear view mirror. My £8k 2015 Honda Civic did not but instead had that flippy switch manual thing. The Astra also had the ability to adjust the height of the front passenger seat which the Civic did not.

  17. You're listing the prices you paid for used cars like its relevant. Your £1800 2004 astra wasn't £1800 in 2004. The trim level would have been a factor in what was standard or optional equipment. The astra may have been a high spec model and the civic may have been a lower spec relatively speaking.

  18. £1800 would get you into elite territory. Thats full leather, heated, electric seats amongst other bits. Its suprising how well specced some astras get.

  19. I think your missing the point here. Once a car is built, that's it you can't really change its features (beside retrofit mods). The comment above mine was comparing how much they paid for one car Vs how much they paid for a different car. The comparison bears no weight since paying more for a newer car does not equal paying more for a better car. It's not a like for like comparison.

  20. Both moths and butterflies make chrysalises which is the casing that holds the catepillar during metamorphosis(pupae). Most moths also spin a cocoon for added protection which is made from either silk, leaf debris(or similar) or both.

  21. To be fair, someone just posted on CasualUK who got a BK meal for £12, so it's not actually that bad relatively speaking. But yes, £12 for fast food is still insane.
